FX於日前正式放行由《宿敵》和《清道夫》編劇Gina Welch執筆的六集限定劇《斯特林韻事》（The Sterling Affairs），並邀請到了《喜新不厭舊》和《漢尼拔》的Laurence Fishburne以及憑藉《動物王國》、《烏雲背後的幸福線》兩度提名的Jacki Weaver領銜主演。故事將以洛杉磯快船隊曾經的老闆Donald Sterling展開，他在1981年以1250萬美元買下這支隊伍，但成績一直未有起色；真正讓Donald“爲人熟知”的，便是2014年爆發的種族歧視醜聞。在2013年9月與拉丁裔女友爭執的過程中，因爲不滿女友上傳了和Magic Johnson的合照，他大放厥詞，表示自己“養着黑人，給他們薪水，他們的一切都是我賜予的“；在對話被公開後，這則新聞造成轟動，並且引發抗議。最終Donald被終身競賽，並被聯盟罰款250萬美元；而他也被快船隊驅除，其後球隊易手他人。這之外，Donald還有數段婚外情，和自己的妻子Shelly Sterling展開了接近六十年的拉鋸，並最終尋求離婚。此次Jacki將飾演Shelly，而Laurence則會飾演快船隊的另一個關鍵人物- -於1991年加盟並助其闖進季後賽，接着於2013年至2020年執教的Doc Rivers，在種族醜聞的陰影下，Doc繼續帶領隊伍完成了自己的合約。
